While Nintendo keeps edging fans with this . China will come swooping in with this.
LOL bro just accept that Nintendo is run by elderly Japanese men who are incapable of adapting to what modern gamers want. They are completely out of touch with reality....and they don’t seem to be concerned with turning profit either, considering how bafflingly moronic their major business decisions have been for…
I’m just glad I’ve got mine all set up, hacked, and ready to rock ‘n’ roll. Nintendo and the scalpers all can go fuck right off.
If you are going to do it, now’s the time, but keep in mind that the scalpers are active and likely would drown out your posting with dozens of their own. It’s also -very- unlikely you will get $400.
... Maybe shouldn’t have opened the box.
Yeah I don’t buy that.
I think at this point it would actually be cheaper just to buy a real NES, an HDMI converter, and the games you WANT to play (seriously, who wants Castlevania II?). Or if you’re not offended by ROM piracy, buy an EverDrive and call it a day.
*sigh* All of a sudden I have this sad urge to sell my unopened Classic. I bought one back wit the initial release but haven’t opened it because I’m constantly dissapointed that I don’t have a second official controller because somehow Nintendo has been even more piss about stocking extra controllers for a console…
As someone who has an NES Classic and is low on cash right now and wants a Switch, the idea of selling my NES Classic for $400 or so, so I can get a Switch is weighing on me right now...
You get really angry whenever Nintendo are criticised don’t you?
It almost feels like Nintendo made this console for scalpers exclusively
Ok look this was a pretty cool novelty at $60 but any more than that, no thanks. I’ve bought all of this stuff numerous times over the years and have no qualms about emulating it now which I can do easily and have better features, a longer controller cord, and more games. Buying shit like this at these prices just…
So far this just shows the effect of a killer app, with Wii U almost selling 50% of the new system.
“Nintendo is working to make sure everyone who wants a system is able to buy one, and more systems are continually being shipped.”
Why n it play both? That’s what I’m going to do.
Just like Final Fantasy, each story is self-contained with very loose connections that you don’t need to know anything about.
Why are you questioning the release here on North America? We got Dragon Quest Builders (on Vita, which everyone but SE has basically abandoned) and Dragon Quest Warriors 1 and 2. They’re not going to leave us North American DQ fans hanging.
Couple things: first, I think that you don’t choose between the two styles for the 3DS version; it shows the 3D version on the top screen, and the retro version on the bottom.
Hot damn. If I can play the whole game in 16 bit, I am all in for the 3DS version. Those HD models on PS4 look great, but there’s just something so appealing about the older style.
