Dishonored is expressly intended for people who _like_ slowly exploring every tiny nook and cranny, and patient sneaking.

Not only did he never reach the _rank_ of Captain, he also never acted as a ship captain, as far as we know. (Fighter squadron commander is really not the same thing.)
OK, I was being more than a little facetious there.
Trust me, if you had read it you still wouldn't be able to think of one.
I think you're being unfair to the depth of the text here. I saw Capaldi as performing the Doctor's inflexible hatred of soldiers as an extension of his self-hatred - he hates soldiers in part because he's done things so much worse than most soldiers ever do, and he's afraid of becoming inured to that.
daedalus_x has a strong point here. Since most Gallifreyans basically hang around on Gallifrey running a bureaucracy and / or wearing silly fashions, the Time Lords are the only Gallifreyans any other species ever actually meets.
Heck, yes.
Absolutely. The key thing driving a lot of those decisions was an unwillingness to consider that they're in a _deeply competitive_ marketplace.
That's a brilliantly precise summary, stepped_pyramids. That's precisely it. Too many decisions were driven by the perceived "loss" if players go elsewhere or don't pay, and too few by the desire to hold a playerbase long-term.
The basic problem with Cronenberg's far-future biologically-linked super-game is that it's the most boring computer game since Lawn Mower Simulator.
Also, as usual, children get taken advantage of.
Yes, you can still call it a perfect penis. It's so perfect that we can only admit the truth of it and move on.
They've done plenty of both. It's the one kind of discrimination they don't do.
Oh, Zeus, yes… WBC files suit against anyone and everyone at the drop of a protest sign. Phelps trained his crew in abusive litigation tactics, very thoroughly. They've won one Supreme Court case.
Bachmann's arguably _more_ evil. Most of the WBC are effectively familial abuse victims, and in a particularly encompassing and horrific way. What's her excuse?
Bear in mind that they're a mixture of really a abusive family and a legal troll company. Their main business model is harassing strangers until someone throws a punch, then launching lawsuits.
All the more interesting because Lucas otherwise falls so far short on issues around female characters.
It's not shovelware - it's a playable, fun game - but it didn't really have much reason to exist. Bioshock's story was already complete; there was nothing significant added to it.
The hourly rate is good, but the capital costs are murder. Good equipment is not cheap, and some of it needs… careful maintenance. Like many entertainment industries, you're paying for a lot more clean/tidy/prepare time behind the scenes for every hour you see on stage.
Conversely, if he didn't disclose (before marriage) his desire to be suitably onioned, he doesn't get to assume she should be comfortable with it. Some people are _not natural doms_. You can't _make_ yourself enjoy being a dom, any more than you can _make_ yourself be a sub.
