I've wanted him to be the Doctor ever since his Marquis de Carabas,  Just the right blend of awesome, arrogance and humour - just add empathy, and you're there.

It's _not_ hard to make a good Superman movie.  It's just that nobody has attempted to do it.  Picking Snyder does not indicate the intent to include character development, depth or interest in your superhero movie.

I think this covers it exactly.  Wanda's exclusion is meant to feel painful, and discriminatory, and *pointless*.  It's about the clash between a our modern ideals and the leftover prejudices of the greek gods.  (It's explicit throughout the series that most mythical creatures are amoral bastards.)

Well, sort of.  But anyone directing a critique of *anything* should first know and understand their source material.  Existenz was a movie about VR games that had no understanding of VR or games; it came across like a movie about stock car races made by someone who'd never seen a car, but had once had one described
