Personally, I think it’s a great port that’s super fun to play, despite the wonky control scheme (a to interact, LT to jump?). I was getting a bit bored of The Phantom Pain, and now I have way more time in Mad Max.

I’m enjoying it more than Mordor too. I really liked Mordor.

Gotta disagree with your review. The setting, the story and driving/fighting is all Mad Max. Eff the controls, players the world over never agree on controls, get over it. The game starts in a dried up ocean. Besides driving and fighting, what else would you have the hero do? Pick daisies? Find coral? Meet npc 1, and

How come the positive Steam reviews FAR outnumber the negative? Currently it stands at 1,109 positive versus 30 negative. Seems like 97.57% positive reviews is overwhelming. <confused>

I’m finding it very hard to take this review seriously. From the writing the interpretation I get is that you didn’t really want to review this game but did so because it paid. And even then it sounds like you were annoyed after the first 5 minutes because of some seemingly deep rooted hatred toward cutscenes? Maybe I

I’m really liking this game so far. I have nothing against the review, but thank god I didn’t take Chris’s advice on this one. I would have missed out on a great game.

So this is the reason they were pushing 50% off on Greenman just last week... Pre-orders must have been extremely low.

You really sound like someone harping on the flaws of the game becasue you have been playing too many open-world games lately (most of which have similar repetitive tasks to do), we all know those tasks exist in most open world games these days, they are the norm, but instead of talking about what’s good about the

Alternate control option puts shoot on R1/RB. The reviewer was just looking for things to complain about to justify the NO.

Shame you didn’t like it. I’ve been watching streams and am still excited for it. Looks like a lot of fun to me. In the mail, should know how I like it tonight :D

Keep in mind this is only the review of one reviewer. You should always put your opinion on the game if you are curious. Right now it has a 75 on metacritic, which means its pretty good.

Which I believe is the reviewers problem. As someone that hasn’t played many open world games this year, I’m absolutely loving it.

Personally, I’m liking it more than Mordor.

It took all of a few situations to get used to it. It’s fine.

As someone who has been playing this game since its midnight release, I couldn’t disagree more with this review.

Not sure where this review was going, but you lost me entirely.

hmm a lot of other outlets seem to be enjoying this quite a bit...

I chalk up most of the bad press the game is getting on open world fatigue.

I’m actually enjoying the game personally. Perhaps my expectations for the game weren’t very high so I’m able to enjoy it bit more for what it is.

Let the record show that Chris volunteered to review Mad Max. You brought this on yourself, man!
