I’m upset enough that there’s even such a thing as a $33,000 S2000.

Everyone correct me if I’m wrong, but a good friend of mine (who mostly does Mopar and Model As) told me that there is no way from the VIN alone to tell if a first generation Mustang is an original coupe or fastback. The price difference is enough that conversions are (or were, Mustang values seem to be a bit down

They certainly don’t represent the entire state...but they do pretty accurately represent the teenagers of Greenbrier.

Also in Nashville. A lot of my neighbors made things difficult by SHOVELING THEIR DRIVEWAYS INTO THE ROAD.

And she doesn’t even have the old “the way our strange language is constructed flammable and inflammable mean the exact same thing” excuse.

It would be a world full of...

‘96 Manual Non-TCS Aero here. I’ve always thought the rear 3/4 view of our cars is sublime. I only payed a couple hundred more for mine than the NP/CP car, so I’m inclined to say CP except there are probably $800 worth of parts I wouldn’t mind having off of it.

I love the 9000 Aero, and I’m not going to say this is a bad price, but rather that a year of searching and only a couple hundred more will get you a much nicer car. Like mine...

Unless of course you ask it to take you on a walk right along the coastline. Then it dramatically underestimates the distance.

Hmm...I guess it varies from car to car. The R1Rs were only about $30 a piece more than the cheap tires for me, same with nice Michelin MXV4 tires for my Saab. The Alfa has the same size wheel as a Miata which probably helps availability.

Well, while just buying new tires is a bit pricey, if you’re waiting until your old tires are worn out then the cost of nice tires is not that much more than the cost of crappy ones.

You forgot thing #1 - TIRES! Good tires and a fresh balance will transform a car; I literally doubled my cornering exit speed going from cheap Chinese tires to slightly wider Toyo Proxes R1Rs in my Alfa Milano.

Let’s all wish him a speedy recovery from having to focus his eyes directly on a QX80 #PoliceEyesMatter.

It may partially be the cars I’m familiar with - a dozen or so owned by enlisted military (who often don’t have enough money to buy a good one in the first place) that are always either broken, or have the obsolete and worn out AGP wastegate / disconnected Solenoids / TIP sensor / Blue Plate BOV mods. It seems to me

Finding a WRX that has never been abused is almost impossible. That’s why I tell a select consortium of trusted and certified non-bros that, if they want a WRX, they should get a Saab 9-2x Aero instead. It’s the same car but a bit cheaper, and there’s a good chance the previous owner has never even heard of vaping.

Oh god these. A good friend of mine bought one a couple years ago. I liked the idea of a fast FWD turbo car too, so I bought a Saab 9000 Aero.

My best day. My worst day. My first day.

F-SR = Full-size Supra Replacement?

The 4.2 I’ve driven was pretty heavy as well, but part of it was just the unusual layout - the pedal is basically vertical and you kind of push the whole thing towards the front of the car.
