Emergency and trauma nurse here. Actually does sound like some type of psychosis, and w/ the snippet about Al-Qaeda and the paranoid nature of that, schizo is a distinct possibility. But again, that's from afar. Just hope the guy can get the treatment he apparently needs. Too sad.

ER Nurse here. Hate to say it but he's heading down a path where he'll end up not breathing and close to death in an ER somewhere. All signs have been pointing down that road for a while now.

Seriously. He obviously has a serious substance abuse problem, which is readily developing into behavioral (probably psychiatric) problems right before our eyes. I actually believe his dad when he says he thinks he’ll be dead before 24, unfortunately..
