I'd rank "Charlie Work" up there as one of the best of the entire series. Any time they show at least one of the characters actually doing well at something, it just clicks for some reason. Maybe it's because none of the other characters ever give a shit regardless of how great or how awful they do.

Poppins didn't die, he ran away in the episode "Mac's Mom Burns Her House Down." Mac even said "I have Poppins but he's gone", and I have no doubt he will return at some point, if only in the series finale given Poppins' reputation for being indestructible.
