lol yes. After the Tumbler.
lol yes. After the Tumbler.
"I wonder why they didn't include the Batman vs Superman version."
They did tho
Well… you're not wrong.
Idiots on both side of the argument made a mountain out of a molehill.
Holy shit. There are still people trying to make the argument that being critical of Rey automatically equals being a sexist? You people are almost as bad as the people who say that you hate women for not supporting the new Ghostbusters. Grow up.
One great season (S5) followed by four shite ones isn't exactly "great."
Why are you complaining like B+ isn't a strong score?
"This idea—that it’s good taste and faithful fandom, not sexism, that fuels backlash against an unreleased, as-yet-unseen movie based on nothing more than a trailer—has been capably refuted elsewhere."
lol no he hasn't
Williams can be anyone but River. Certain revelations might disappoint me, but River is the only reveal that would make me heavily contemplate jumping ship.
It…does, actually. You know what I think is even shittier than the prequel trilogy? The spreading of misinformation. If you're going to hate something—anything—at least do so educated. Don't perpetuate false information. That's something I feel strongly about, yes.
Way to jump the gun and make ludicrous conclusions. I think the prequel films are as shitty as the next guy; just because I don't criticize EVERYTHING about them and I recognize there are things in them that I like or that aren't as bad as people say doesn't mean I automatically think they're good movies. Please.
no, yeah, it's silly and unnecessary, I agree. But my point is that being able to gauge how godly Jesus is compared to Moses wouldn't make God Himself any less mysterious. Same with midi-chlorians. I completely agree that they were an unnecessary addition to the Star Wars canon; I just don't agree with people that say…
That's fine. I can totally understand people not liking them in concept. But I just have a problem with the principle of perpetuating blatantly false information like "midi-chlorians ARE the Force".
In a wholly innocuous way. Being able to gauge someone's Force potential by midi-chlorians doesn't detract from the mysticism of the Force any more than how a religious text doesn't make a deity suddenly wholly comprehensible by a mortal mind.
…obviously I meant within the context of the universe. :p
My post isn't about whether you like them or not; it's about not spreading false information.
Clearly it does. People always complain that midi-chlorians replaced the mysticism of the Force with science, when in actuality, the Force is still a supernatural force. The midi-chlorians are just another group of organisms fascinated by it.
*sigh*
lol why is that fanart of SSJ3 Vegeta labeled "Battle of Gods"
