Can you tell I’m not into sports? lol
I didn’t see a license plate in the video and would be interested in learning about the car’s registration status. There is a possibility they just didn’t notify the DMV after rebodying it, meaning the state assumed it was still (for instance) a 1992 Pontiac LeMans.
I don’t think the brand mattered so much there. As THE supersonic airliner, it was (and is) in a class of one.
<3
why did so many people pay a big premium to fly on the Concord?
It was really, really fast.
Aerodynamics jump to mind.
hahahahaha that can’t be real
Yeah, it took me a while to figure out it was a baseball logo. I have no idea what “12th men” is.
This all implies that if you buy a Lincoln, your life is hell. I think the ads should make you (as a potential buyer) feel good about how classy and collected you are, and most luxury ads to that.
For someone who likes autos, NP. It looks really clean.
I’m unironically kind of excited that someone is picking up the torch on 1990's American fascia and lighting styling. That whole mono-light look needs to come back and this “Lucid” is almost there. It looks clean and neat. The body side may be plain, but I do appreciate that they’re pushing for simplicity
I would have been up there after the first incident. The guy just stood there and watched like five cars slide off the road before doing anything. Regardless of the contractor’s actions, WTF. The dude could have prevented thousands of dollars of property damage/bodywork.
Yeah, and that’s fine if they make that decision. But they’ve got to admit it’s a decision and not a necessity. And as someone else pointed out, a few grand will get you a pretty nice car if you’re willing to do some shopping and research.
This whole discussion assumes someone has the money for a monthly lease payment.
When Volvo cars was owned by Ford, did Volvo Marine build GM licensed engines? These are the things I think about.
I have to ask... why do the average person’s financial decisions nullify Leno’s advice?
He is a rally driver. He kinda knows how these things go down. Triple zero goes first, relatively slowly. Double zero is second and single zero is near race pace. This 000 car is going quite fast- so fast that if someone were on stage the car might not be able to stop in time. I acknowledge that it is a super special…
