Lovely move by your mother.

I’m wondering, if it’s the parents’ decision to bring the babies along, why do you have sympathy for them? They made the decision* to bring the baby onto a plane. Why do they need sympathy? Wouldn’t it make more sense to have sympathy for their fellow travelers, who have to listen to the

Pretty neat commercial(s), but OH SO EARLY 2000's

Now playing

I don’t know... the likelihood of elderly relatives dying in a specific two-year period is pretty unlikely, and there is still Amtrak, which takes about the same time as driving if you stop for food and “other needs”. I’m pretty sure two to three year old kids can handle not spontaneously crying for three hours

Probably people wanting looks for a low price. Why pay 20% more if you’re getting a sporty looking coupe either way? ;)

Whuh whuh whaa?

However, they’d presumably buy it based on the looks and specs, as opposed to some “brand image” the car has “cultivated” in the past 4 years it has even existed. If the car is flashy and sporty, does it really matter if the relatively new model name changes? In other words, is an FR-S by any name any less sporty?

However, they’d presumably buy it based on the looks and specs, as opposed to some “brand image” the car has “cultivated” in the past 4 years it has even existed. I can’t imagine the “FR-S” name is emblazoned into the minds of consumers just yet. Mustang, yes. Camaro, yes. Even Z-cars. But FR-S?

Oftentimes, there’s nothing a parent can do to quiet a crying baby so try to be compassionate. You were once screaming, shitty baby, too.

I’m totally with you. I always wear a button up shirt, decent pants and loafers on the plane. The happy part is that the loafers are easy to take off/put on at security!

Well, the tC was their highest seller, according to yesterday’s article.

Do people really, truly, buy the neo-hachi without knowing what it really is? I have a hard time believing that. Every time I see one driving around I imagine the Initial D posters hanging in the driver’s garage.

COTD!

Did anyone figure out how the cars got damaged? It would seem like a photoshoot wouldn’t be hard on cars.

Think of it as bi-scooter. The idea was that it’d be a car the size of two scooters. It helped get Spain on wheels after WW2, so budgets were quite limited.

The Biscuter: when you want a C27 Aerosport, but can only afford a Heinkel.

Awesome project. I’ve thought about this and done some research in the past, too. When you get it updated with all the new comments I want to print it out!

Jalopnik has an e-book, but can we have posters too?

With an open differential, both tires receive the amount of torque that goes to the tire with the least traction.

If you need help finding a safe speed to drive, practice panic stopping in/on an empty parking lot or road, in multiple weather situations. Measure how far it took you to stop, and drive slowly enough that your visibility is better than that distance. You should already know your skills and your vehicle’s limitations,

I’m guessing you’ve never had to deal with wipers frozen into ice that’s deeper than the blade is thick.

The problem is, this happens at least once a month in the northern Midwest. You get some nice freezing rain, or some snow hits your warm parked car, melts, then freezes. Then you have to scrape the ice off, carefully avoiding jabbing the wipers. Then you have to carefully pull the blades up without ripping them apart.
