There are really no good roads for enthusiastic driving around Detroit. I mean, there’s the Belle Isle race track, but you can’t drive over about 30mph there legally, and race direction is counter to the one-ways.

Detroit suburbs are horrible. I live directly north of Detroit and it’s all a straight grid pattern.
