We all seem to know these guys pretty well after one poorly done scene. There's no doubt they're rape apologetic misogynists

And I'm sure our outrage on a website will totally be the missing ingredient to get rid of rape culture.

I don't think anybody hates women here or likes seeing them raped

YES! This exactly. I know rape is wrong, I'm pretty sure everybody else here knows rape is wrong. We shouldn't care what people who watched this thought and thought "Bitch had it coming"

Call me an optimist but I don't think a badly directed scene on the directors part confirms that he's rape loving misogynist and that American society needs to have ANOTHER tactful AV Club article on why its bad. We know it's bad, the guys who don't…..well we don't listen to them or they're in jail..for you know? Rape.

The right people know it's stupid, and rape is wrong. I'm pretty sure that's no being debate in our nation except by the fucktards like Todd Aiken who proved that most people, when they hear stupid shit like that, tune out.

I don't think we need to make overgeneralized statements on gender based on a scene in a tv show

Listen guys can we just say that this was a stupid directing that ruined the scene and hurt Jaime's character? I'm not anti-talk about rape intelligently but it just gets tedious hearing the same restated points about f how rape is bad. I'm not saying they aren't valid, they are. I'm saying the people who need to know

Best part of this whole episode was the way Rust and Cohle revealed their dream jobs. It was so casual, but at the same time fragile
