it is not necessarily a close up scope. There are scopes designed to be looked through with the head further away from it.

as given by the minimal title, my assumption is that this is a workspace for the kind of work that does not require a full desk. AKA reviewing papers or something while listening to musit.
I'm glad mine could make it to the top workspaces! (mine is the classic retro workspace). I need to take some photos and upload them, I've changed very nearly every piece of gear on the desk, as well as being in a different house.

I've seen that one at cosco, and if I weren't so happy with my sony Xperia I might have grabbed one. It seemed to be really quite great.

I have the same, and feel the same. I don't understand the negativity at all, aside from a few extremely minor gripes that I have with basically every piece of hardware I've ever owned.
I have the new vizio co-star, use it primarily for plex and 1080 netflix. Works fantastic, and I have had no problems with the platform as a whole. I also stream google music and pandora on it.
