This is such a short-sided and ignorant opinion that all i can do is laugh.

The fact that the guy in the video can't even manage to ride the thing well tells me straight off the bat that this is not a good idea, period.

Yeah, didnt say that at all.

And every single one of those this would have been much harder to pull off and more difficult to obtain and set up, and having more gun owners wouldn't have helped.

But they're only like 3% into things so far.

Not a fair comparison, at all. There are far more cars than guns, and there are thousands of times more cases of cars being used for their intended purpose not causing death than guns being used for their intended purpose, which is to put holes in people.

Could you link me to any story, anywhere, about a person attacking a movie theater and killing 12 people with a pillow?

Correlation does not signify cause.

Or there would simply be a lot more shootings without due process or fair legal procedings. There used to be a time in this country where near everyone was armed, and it was hardly more peaceful than today.

How is a weapon less dangerous than a transportation device?

So what you're saying is we should ban aids?

Exactly. There are plenty of dangerous things that we interact with, but guns are specifically designed and engineered to put holes in things. That is their only purpose, the only thing they will ever accomplish, the only thing they do. Whether it's good or bad is more complex, but the literal state of it is that guns

I'm pretty sure you'd be hard pressed to find a person who is pro gun control and also pro disease.

You know that Joe is the head editor, right?

It's a lot harder to walk into a movie theater and stab 60 people with a knife without being stopped than with a gun.

Just because a person said something doesn't make it an accurate representation of the situation.

All of the analogies, both in the post and in the comments, both for and against guns, are all so full of fail. All of them. There is not a single realistic or useful analogy or comparison being made, just a bunch of people who already made up their minds yelling a bunch of words about how only they know what they're

not really. The second amendment is supposed to protect the rights of organized and trained militias, not just whoever wants a gun.

but actually definitely not.

I think this is great advice. It can really waste your time and your effort to waste a bunch of time trying to remember information that could be as easily written down and recalled later.
