And even then, I'd guess much, much, much closer to $1000 for the base model.

It's been said more than once that they're going to be closer to ultrabook pricing then ipad. I'd guess the lowest RT at 600, with another 80 for a keyboard cover. I'd be very impressed if it was cheaper.
Yeah, I don't know how to be excited about this comparison when the Windows tablets are likely to cost a few hundred more.
Yeah, not really an accurate summing up of things.
Yeah, you're entirely wrong.
I actually really love my Microsoft Arc keyboard.
Just power, but then again it's only charging. I don't ever plug anything into it when I'm actually using it. It's a chromebook, though.
Yes I do. I use my gnexus on a daily basis for that, and I use my old Desire when traveling as a spare.
i really do not see magnets being a beneficial design in an iphone.
It could still do well in business. Not really a consumer price tag.
Uh, yeah. The third party solution will actually update and have all the features and won't totally suck.
yeah, it's definitely WAY way better to move all of those things to third party apps and not built in apps.
a touch without cameras, at 120 gigs, for $250? then a 16 at $150, a 32 at $200, and a 8 gig ipad mini at $250 as well?
I saw this on the plane when I went to london a few months ago, and actually really enjoyed it. Usually I hate movies of this sort, and it was a little silly here and there, but even the faux-documentary part actually worked for most of the film.
Do you need it to be portable as well? If you don't need it to be portable, there are some extremely low cost options using hardware you probably have already.
day to day, samsung gnexus for most stuff, sometimes I'll add the sony s tablet and a BT keyboard for work or school related things, and that's it.
Had it worked properly, I loved the original Dell XPS Studio 13". Really awesome keyboard, great looks, sorta ok battery. but it melted in like a month.
thanks!
Although some people have even less space to hang them. options are a good thing.
I'm quite tired of this absurd notion that the advance of technology removes imagination from an art form.
