The Cutlass Calais shared a platform with the Grand Am.  The Sunbird shared a platform with the Olds Firenza.

The Grand AM was the Pontiac counterpart to the Cutlass Calais. The Sunbird was the Cavalier’s sibling.

This was really bothering me. I feel better now.

The Quad 442 W41 was seriously an under-rated little monster of its day. It was a light weight 190 HP (160 lb ft) and good handling car that did very well on a closed road course.

Saturn replaced Geo, poorly. GM specifically targeted a direct replacement for the Isuzu (Japanese made) models with Saturn.
