Agreed in re: vibes from Schnapp. He seemed more bewildered than anything else. You can google Stranger Things cast and click your way to Quinn’s social media stuff. Is Doja that bad at the internets?

OMG this EXACTLY. You’re a grown woman asking a teen to hook you up with a co-star? And then drag said teen for talking about it? Take ALL the seats. Plus, calling Noah a snake or weasel will def not help you get a date with Quinn who I’m sure has much for affection for Noah than a woman he’s never met. Great

This all damn day. Doja sent an unsolicited DM to a teen asking for help hooking up with his co-worker. Dude. This is the problem. Also, it’s 2022 and she’s still out here assuming that internet messages are private. This is the embodiment of “play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”

Maybe, but we love to see accountability for rising movie stars who typically go on to be entitled fuckboys, and this is probably a good way for Schnapp to learn not to violate a woman’s privacy. If a little shit shared my DM slides, I’d probably be pissed too.

The debate between Warnock and Walker is potentially destination viewing.
Walker could literally say almost anything.

Oh no it isnt! Sorry, panto joke!

Also, I think a slight majority of abortions are for people who are already parents?

“As a parent, I oppose abortion” is nonsensical, plenty of parents have both given birth and had abortions.

If he’s seriously reformed, I think he owes it to the country to be much more public about it. Explain his reasons and show that he understands why his previous positions were so awful. He wasn’t just some random conservative who saw the error of his ways, he was a white nationalist leader.

A lot of weird Christians refer to people outside their sects as “gentiles” too, so they probably wouldn’t blink.

They have several dozen miles of unlimited roads, yes. The rest have speed limits. It's also a society that values rules and following them strictly.

Apart from stricter driver licensing and better public transport, Germany also has stricter vehicle safety checks, and also road design explicitly includes safety, and also enforcement of the existing rules is stricter. These all emerge from a broader culture of regulation for public safety.

A large part of that is the transit infrastructure you mentioned. The best way to not get into a car accident is to not get into a car. The US is woefully behind the times when it comes to transit. A lot is due to it’s size and history, but it’s laughable how bad we are at mass transit here.

UK / Nordics are even lower than Germany.  Better training, better roads, better enforcement.

I’m sorry for any hurt this image caused.””

Not an apology. He takes no accountability, he doesn’t apologize for having the cake in the first place. Further, the hurt wasn’t caused by the image, the hurt was caused by you commissioning such a gross cake.

Grosse Point Blank is one of my hinted five. Minnie Driver just seems so utterly believable to me no matter what she does, but maybe I’m lust-blind because I always thought she was pretty.

She has been in so many great films and worked with so many big names living the no-small-parts dream, but she broke my heart in Return to Me. It was that movie where I pondered why she wasn’t headlining more often.

I will always love Minnie Driver. She came to my city for a local cancer org’s fundraiser, and my dad happened to be in the hospital at the time being treated for pancreatic cancer (he unfortunately passed away nine years ago this month). She took the time to visit with a ton of patients, including my dad, without PR

Thanks for the information! I didn’t know that. In an article ironically titled, “Queen Elizabeth II is NOT the Queen of England – is it so hard to get it right?” the author writes,

The (simplified)* foundation of this country is one of rebellion. The GOP loves to yee-haw about this but the truth still stands that America was an experiment in challenging the “natural order” of the rightful rule of kings and their lords who handed down decisions from on-high and were not experiencing the
