It will be a criminal waste of talent if they don’t give her the lead in a well written show. When someone is stealing scenes from Sam Jackson, they need their own show. Olivia has range.

He also wanted the names of the Tesla models to spell SEXY, but had to use 3 because Ford had already trademarked the model E. Mentally, he is still a horny 14 year old.
Good point. I doubt that they would ever sympathy strike with a union in another country.
There’s also the irony of any American trying to lecture the UK on the state of our labour laws. The US has the worst worker’s rights in the developed world.
Olivia Colman was easily the best part of the show. Stealing every scene, and even throwing in an Eddie Izzard reference (cake or death).
Same. There was a trailer when I saw Dial of Destiny, but there weren’t even any posters in the cinema.
even if he has the worst haircut I’ve ever seen in my life
Not only adapted them all, but frequently did a better job than movies with far larger budgets.
It must be a bitter pill for the BBC, but ITV has produced the better detective shows over the decades. Partly because of their excellent casting.
Honestly, if you’re interested in the Agatha Christie stories about Poirot, then you’re better off watching the ITV series Poirot with David Suchet. He played the character in 70 episodes for over two decades, and nobody has played Poirot better.
That’s essentially what used to happen with Ireland, in the says before it was decriminalised. Where Irish women would travel to Britain for an abortion. The euphemism being that they were going on a “holiday to England”.
As a non-American, it’s hilarious that anyone would think that the US Democratic party is ‘too far left’. They’re centre-right, at best. Just as owned by the corporations as the Republicans are.
It would be good if they brought back John Boyega, but it’s doubtful after they did him dirty, and he was vocal about how he felt about it. Finn is Force sensitive, which would then make sense for him to become part of the new Jedi. If Disney didn’t completely burn that bridge with John Boyega, I’d like to see him…
Well, studio execs were dumb enough to give Morbius a theatrical re-release because they fell for internet trolling. Maybe they also think that because he won an Oscar a decade ago, that people actually think he’s good. Missing that pretty much every performance since then has been panned by critics and the public.
True. A lot of genre shows can feel like the character driven episodes are only there to save on the FX budget. Without sufficient focus on the writing, they tend to be mediocre, at best.
This is getting ridiculous with streaming companies removing exclusive content. It just alienates fans of the shows that were removed. Forcing people to but that specific content, when they had already been paying to watch it as part of a package.
It’s surprising that they haven’t tried to find a younger equivalent of Patrick Stewart. Someone who can just act the socks off the people around them. That kind of actor can inspire the others to up their game.
Presumably this also means that glass dildos would be banned, along with any smooth dildos, the themed dildos like the Avengers one where they have a Thor’s hammer dildo.
It’s a palatable excuse that they can sell to their supporters, instead of just admitting that they want to punish women, and let men have zero consequences.
It’s easier for them to argue against the straw man version of women getting an abortion, rather than against the actual women getting an abortion. I don’t think that it’s possible for the GOP to make an honest argument for anything, anymore. They have dogma, not policies.
