If possible, could you not use GB News (also known as Gammon Bait News) as a source for anything? They’re the latest attempt to launch a British equivalent of Fox News. Fortunately, so far their work has been amateurish, and their viewing figures have been falling.

There were the memes circulating about how badly male authors write female characters. Often obsessing over their physical attributes in bizarre detail. Even though I’m a man, that stuff is wasted on me, due to having aphantasia. So precisely zero mental images.

Considering a lot of Republicans public statements show a complete lack of understanding of the First Amendment, it’s not really surprising that they also fail to understand many things. Their statements may well be disingenuous or they may be that stupid. Poe’s Law is in effect.

There certainly seemed to be a thing with sausages in season 3.

Blackadder: Are you sure they meant it, sir?

He manages to make his idiots endearing, rather than annoying. It’s a tough call between Prince George and Lt George in season 4.

Some of the best comedy ever to grace our TV screens. Perfect casting, and great guest stars. Even managing to hit you right in the feels at the very end.

His passing was a loss to the world.

He really wishes that he’d had RDJ’s career from Kiss Kiss Bang Bang forwards. OK, maybe not Dolittle

I think that they were more successful with the 60s/70s shows, like those you’ve mentioned, plus probably the most famous adaptation Sanford and Son. It may work better when audiences don’t even realise that it’s a remake/adaptation of a UK show. So it’s not being sold on the name recognition of the original

Back to Earth was the first season after the switch to Dave. That was definitely a low point. I think they were relying to heavily on nostalgia, and Back to Reality being one of the most popular episodes.

Red Dwarf and Blackadder were responsible for a lot of my teen humour, along with The Young Ones and Bottom. All eminently quotable. Even decades later.

Hopefully the later episodes also made it to the US, after the show moved from the BBC to Dave. Yes, we have a TV channel called Dave, because we’re British, dammit.
