Well the humidity definitely doesn’t help, but it mostly just lowers the effectiveness. Definitely increases net use!

I think it really hurts around here when your white car with tan interior doesn’t even need to be in the sun to be 150 degrees inside and 135 under the hood. It’ll also still be 105 degrees out at 3am.

It ran out of juice because of a system failure.
It’s not about how easy or hard it is to charge.

My girlfriend has found enormous relief with micro-dosing THC. The attacks are about 4 times less frequent, and when they do happen a larger dose can eliminate them entirely or at the very least help her get to sleep.

She’s a whole different person now- I can’t recommend it enough if it’s an option available.

Do you live in a desert?
I don’t know a single person with a car over 70k that HASN’T had a compressor replaced. Toyota/Lexus, Honda/Acura, Fords, and the usual German Suspects.
It’s ESPECIALLY guaranteed on modern luxury cars with dark paint and dark interiors.

Then someone with your impeccable planning skills would likely never run out of charge, either.

What’s your point?

I mean, it definitely looks like a buzzer.
I’d give 75% odds it’s a buzzer, 25% odds its a hall-effect or magnetic reed sensor.
To the latter point, was there a magnet or evidence of a previous magnet on the panel above where the mystery part was? It could be a sensor for detecting when the panel has been removed, vis a

And here’s my entry for WORST packing job, with the beautiful disaster that was me needing to get a huge, 30-pound computer case to UPS after it arrived damaged and I had to RMA it.

The BWW one is even better, IMHO, by the sauce-factor alone.

Oh man, how about not just a trunk, but a whole car filled to the cubic inch?
I’ve got an entire photo album for this one, but here’s a couple photos that peel back the layers:

Look, I fucking love these gen 1 CRVs.

Now thats what I call a Ford Fiesta!

“FRUNKY” is a very good EV vanity plate.

Ford Accountant: “Hey, I got the purchase request for supplies for this weeks marketing photoshoot with the Mach E prototype. It looks like all you included was 90 pounds of buffalo wings and an extra large spread of cocktail shrimp. Can you send expected costs for the models and crew? Sounds like a big shoot with

Glass gets dirty, scuffed, and broken. Adhesive fails. Those alignment servos do die or strip out pretty regularly on older cars.

No, I work in the industry as a mechanical engineer. I’ve sourced and tested automotive-grade cameras and screens.

By that logic, why would they give a shit about anything?

Right, and Ford sold cars with transmissions that would fail in the form of sudden and unexpected surges of power.

It comes with some advantages, such as better visibility at night and in the rain/snow. It also provides a much greater field of view. You can also pipe that camera view onto any of the interior screens for better contextual situational awareness.

Also, cameras and screens are pretty freaking bulletproof at this point.

We’re a lot less flexible about things like camera mirrors and crash testing- I think that’s all it is.
E-Tron got around it by putting real mirrors on the NA models, but that’s not a simple change- all the screens dedicated to those cameras and all the software expecting those cameras has to be altered. If those
