The Maker transitioned into the main universe pretty well, and Jimmy Hudson (Wolverine’s son) popped up, but mostly no.

While I’m still sad for Anthem’s developers, I am so glad to hear this. This is the best news for me.
That said a Dragon Age multiplayer spin-off could be interesting. Not for me. But still I would love if they branched off and tried some different things with the franchise. Same for Mass Effect

Okay, but regardless of your feelings, the actual Ultimate armor looks better than that:

Sure, and damage control, in this instance isn’t necessarily bad, right? “We messed up, here is what you want.” seems like an okay sentiment?

Wait, companies are realizing single-player games can still thrive and be lucrative?! THAT’S CRAZY TALK, everything must be live-service, there’s no such thing as big single-player games an--

The worst thing about Andromeda was that you knew you were looking at a solid game with a bunch of mandated bloat stapled onto it. If they were allowed to make the game they wanted it probably would have been a solid start to a (sort of) new series.

I always got the feeling that the original concept for the game was a new single player RPG IP but then EA said “Make a multiplayer game instead” and Anthem is what we got.  Deep down there are the bones of a cool story but that wasn’t what the game was being made into

Hopefully this means they’ll go back to focusing on making great single-player RPGs like the Mass Effect (with the arguable exception of Andromeda) and Dragon Age series, and that new IP they were working on. Anthem just seemed like a giant distraction from what they do well.

Dailey’s explanation also puts blame on the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, forcing the studio to adopt work from home strategies, for not being able to meet expectations.

Curious what kind of clusterfuck behind the scenes must have happened to result in this situation. Fully expecting tales of massive assholery to come out some time in the future.

Yes, CP was such a disaster that it sold over 13 million copies in two weeks and has a 85 Metacritic score (PC version, of course). People like to pretend that CP is some unmitigated disaster like Duke Nukem Forever or Daikatana when the reality is that it’s a good, albeit unpolished, game that was a commercial

The sun/dot should be fine since it’s literally their flag. If China thinks using the Japanese flag is offensive due to Japan’s past war crimes, then perhaps using the Chinese flag should be considered offensive due to their crimes against humanity being perpetrated right now. China’s high horse is one of the lowest

In times like these I am always reminded of the famous Bette Davis quote on the passing of Joan Crawford:

Nothing ever sticks to this guy.

What legal options? This smells like a case of not reading labels or Googling product first -before- using it. In other words, this shit is all on her, because GG has been on the market for well over ten years now, if not longer and makes clear that you don’t use it for anything you don’t want stuck forever.

fuck they broke the mako

Well, what do you know? Screaming at corporate overlords CAN change things!

That’s dumb as hell. All you have to do is put a warning on whatever you’re going to talk about. It’s that simple, and so a person like me doesn’t have to have all Star Wars, FF7, Sixth Sense, and various show ending ruined for them, seriously, because people can’t shut the fuck up about things, and remember that time

You put “not exist” in quotes like it’s a thing i said, which it isn’t.

I never was huge on the old BK logo, but I definitely don’t blame them with the trend of everything old is new again. And it’s more of an iconic look than the sleeker crescent BK logo of the last 20+ years.
