Anonymous NFL Executives Are Horrible People, Cowards.

Quick, let’s work on that wall before he gets back.

I wasn’t aware anyone could have a stated opinion on the subject that didn’t make me respect them a little less. Well done.

Yes, I’m sure you’re quite qualified to judge the strike zone for 14 year olds from video taken 30 ft in the air.

For as much as we have to complain as sports fans about bad officials, bad players, bad commissioners, bad commissioners, bad NFL commissioners, bad red headed commissioners, bad commissioners with the initials RG, and bad owners, it’s nice to be able to recognize the class A act that this ump showed in both

Unless your name is Peyton Manning, in which case it all gets conveniently swept under the rug.

No, see, that doesn’t happen until you hit the college level. You have to work your way up to that.

2 Balls, 1 Strike.

It was funny once. And only once. Don’t spam.

I could come around on Batou, if only he had the eyepieces. He’d be close enough that I’d wait to see him in action before passing judgement. But without the eyepieces...

Pearlman overall isn’t the best fit for the role but the parts that do fit are evident.

I think I could come around on Batou if he only had the trademark eyepieces. But he doesn’t, so I don’t know what to say.

Calm down there sport.

And he’s not even a rookie to fill the role trope. They specifically brought him into the team because he’s younger and with only basic non-invasive cybernetics. Everyone else was trending more and more cyborg, they recognized they needed someone to ground out the team so they got Togusa to be that for them. He’s

Adaptation can be good for the right reasons. I never thought of Ishikawa as black before but the casting was so perfect here that the change is completely justified. I love it.

But why would they do that for the film and not the poster?

In an odd twist, I think the internet is in full agreement over what works and isn’t working here.

I don’t know how they managed to just nail some parts and completely whiff on the others. They were able to shoehorn Beat Takeshi in as Aramaki convincingly and I really like Ishikawa. Batou... needs the eyepieces for sure but not if it looks like Boma’s look like in that shot. Even if that’s a trick of the light

Neat concept. I just wish the explanation as to why you have these abilities wasn’t so contrived. (And maybe a more convincing voice acting for the retro film...)

So what he said on air... maybe I missed it but I can’t quite pinpoint what part got him fired. Blustery and stupid to be sure, but I assume every sports show in and around Philly is the same. There’s no one sentence that’s obviously egregiously bad like I expected.
