I don't have anything to hide, but allowing our government to continually break down privacy barriers in the name of security could lead to complete totalitarianism.

Pineapples aren't animals. With the pineapple not moving, the animals realized they were imagining the talking pineapple (maybe ate some funny mushrooms). The wisest animal was the one who saw the pineapple for what it was—a piece of fruit to be eaten, not raced, silly.

This is the first time on Gizmodo where I've had to sit through a video commercial in order to view a written article. All sorts of lame. Please don't do that again.

Completely agree. Working hard, regardless of the institution, is where learning really occurs. Plus, a lot of college programs like University of Phoenix or other private online/degree completion programs offer a non-traditional way to obtain a college degree while working full time. This is a must for many of us.

The governments are just jealous that Google gets all the data.

I've become a master of cold turkey—meaning I've "quit" more than a dozen times. Almost every summer I start smoking in July and quit near the end of August. I blame it on friends, microbrews, and warm summer nights.

Big deal. If you can't handle a couple of extra gestures, or can't remember them, then don't use them.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Asus Transformer 2 (Prime?). First quad core processor, ICS, keyboard dock, HDMI, USB, SD card slot, 1280x800 display, and 8.3mm thin. I believe the announcement is on Nov 7th or 9th.

The iPhone app for it is buggy, and landscape mode doesn't exist. Not that big of a deal I guess, but I still prefer FB for the iPhone. Probably be a different story when I switch to Android.

Hell no. I'm picking me up one of them hot Blackberry's.

Definitely adding that one to my bucket list.

I love how everyone talks about Steve Jobs as if they knew him.

Of course it works if only used within a 24 hour window. Weed kills brain cells and causes short term memory loss...traumatic details become a little foggy.

Bubblicious Bubble Gum? Is that a chewed piece, or pre-chewed?

Goodbye, Borders. You were my second home. Many memories of writing college papers, studying for IT certs, building websites, talking with friends and strangers. I think I even bought a book from you once.

Finder was snappier for me on Snow Lep, but I did a clean install of it and not an upgrade, even though the Apple store told me it wasn't possible.

Crap. Now Facebook AND Google will know I just finished cutting down a tree in my backyard.

After years of running with ankle, knee, and foot problems, and trying different shoes and inserts, a friend of mine convinced me to try VFF's. I've been running with them for over 6 months, up to 7 mile runs, and haven't had any pain other than my calf muscles being sore. I'm guessing the VFF's strengthen weakened

One of the reasons why I like this pres. I mean, I could care less about fake photo shoots, but I could see him sitting around a table at the end of a meeting and asking, "By the way, about these staged photo shoots, why do we do this again? Is there some reason we can't do the real thing? Doesn't bother me any.
