I grew up loving both Star Trek and Star Wars. Thanks to syndicated reruns, Star Trek was the first to imprint itself upon my psyche, but that in no way diminished my wonder upon seeing the first Star Wars film in May 1977.

I’m actually kind of shocked at the number of people in the grays talking up the scientific aspects of Star Trek, as though you could get an engineering degree from watching it.

Glass Spider Tour was an awesome tour. the late 1980's was a great time. The USA and Russia were talking. Going out cost nothing. Singers actually sang live. People were actually watching THE concert not staring at big screens or through a phone at it.
