Hello, fellow Sicilian-American. Pecorino Romano ftw. I grew up on it too, and when my grandmother would grate it, chips would fall off and I was allowed to eat those. I still do today. Even though I have to buy it online because it isn’t easily available here like it was when I lived on the east coast. 

Adding that if it’s that hard for restaurants to pay *their* rent in CA, perhaps it’s equally as hard for workers to pay theirs on less than minimum wage? But that’s ok because businesses > workers, right? Sigh.

this, exactly. I donate as well to a number of animal rescue groups - the ones where I’ve gotten dogs. But this is a no brainer in that it costs me nothing and just happens.
