You used “fit, finish and performance” in the same sentence as “Royal Enfield”??

Holy shit an actual honest-to-goodness legit (non-repost) article? What is this sorcery?

Not the bike for me but looks really cool and I hope they do well given the competition.

I would imagine the gearing combined with the smaller contact patch of the all-terrain tires make up a majority of that reduction in mpgs. The highway mileage is much more affected than the city mileage which helps support this theory.

Refueling stops are so “dangerous” in F1 because of how fast they do pit stops. There’s an easy way to fix that. Reduce the number of pit stop personnel over the wall. If you have two tire changers instead of eight, you can slow down your fuel flow rate and make sure the stops are safe.

Probably because it’s a transgression of one of the oldest tenets of polite society: the violation of another’s family, pet or vehicle. Or, as it was taught to me back in the caveman era, “you do not fuck with another man’s girl, dog or ride.”

Pirelli has been buying tires at WalMart on the cheap and been trying to hide it. I got a photo of the proof today.

1st day

I’m just here for the pictures.

Plot twist: it isn’t autonomous, just remote controlled

You with the two-door know a thing or two about saggy Jeep closures!

Agreed. It’s a pretty fantastic failure.

I was expecting this to be an XJ-style issue where the body sags at the point where the door hinges attach. Hooo buddy was I not expecting THIS.

Making me feel old that I actually remember how the speedometers from that era react at slow speeds.

Those old magnetic speedometers aren’t linear at all near 0. So the graduations are adjusted to make the readings more accurate.

I have the same problem with scoring in Tennis. Be consistent!

Just swapping tires has dropped fuel economy by 5% - 10% on several of my cars.

Oh good, You finally have the resident jeep engineer doing off road vehicle reviews. This makes sense. He should be writing more of these (like maybe his take on that new 4xe Wrangler that’s built on a platform he helped work on). Just thinking out loud.
