You joke, but ammunition rarely goes down in value.

Because there are likely federally mandated safety and efficiency issues that are not economically feasible with the current platforms.
I hate how accurate this is
I see the problem with Dodge being that next generation Challenger/Charger. Make it a big fire breathing muscle car like they are now and they may not meet fleet fuel economy or emissions standards. Take away the big V8 and what’s the point? Wait for interest in the current generation to die down and will anybody even…
The Grand Caravan had nothing in common with the Pacifica/Voyager.
I agree. Chrysler’s best chance is to follow the Lincoln model, invest in some exceptional interiors wrapped by reasonably elegant, inoffensive body work.
I think Dodge has chosen to burn out as the last bastion of crazy ICE motors. They won’t go hybrid, much less EV, and have chosen to instead go down with the ship. I can kinda respect it.
Or every high ranking executive in the company to retire. I'm assuming it's really, "give us a 10 year plan and any year you don't execute, someone gets fired."
Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds - One of the most personally significant books I’ve ever read. It taught me early in my career that price charts don’t display prices, they display collective sentiment and psychology.
Ten years? That’s enough time for Chrysler and co to change ownership at least twice.
The dumb thing is, is that Dodge would be super successful if they never spun Ram off into it’s own brand.
At least Beanie Babies have some intrinsic worth. They’re cute and kids like them. When they were just normal toys, they went for about $5 and I bought a couple for my kid. He played with them.
The values of .com companies, IPOs, derivatives, etc are at least traceable back to something tangible. Land, raw materials, patents, the promise of future cash flows etc. One could, and often should, dispute the valuations of those things compared to what underlies them, but there is something there.
I was at the swap meet the other day and there was a guy with a fuck-ton of beeni babies in those plastic collectors cases, even the tags had a special plastic case. I was pretty sure “he knew what he had” but I asked him the prices and he said the small ones were $3 and the medium ones $5. Said he bought a storage…
My wife and I learned a long time ago that we don’t really enjoy gambling. We went to a casino, spent about $20 each found it stupid and dumb and decided to go to the buffet instead.
I suspect it’s only a matter of time before Elon goes through the same thing Gates did in the late 90's. He’s clearly manipulating markets and the only reason he’s not in court is because the government doesn’t understand the markets he’s meddling with.
And also, “It’s always your dumbest friends who win biggest at the casino.”
It looked like a textbook pump and dump to me.
eh, from what i understand a shit ton of this mining is happening in China and mostly running off of coal.
