Just got a Model Y a couple weeks ago. Along with my battery operated mower, leaf blower, weed wacker, hedge trimmers and corded power washer, I’m smug as a bug in a rug.

No shortage in TX, but that didn’t stop them from jacking prices overnight, just for fun. And yes, I topped off with 6 gallons just in case prices stay high for a while. Hoping I won’t have to buy again until things return to normal. The kid is down to 1/4 tank, so his payday fill-up will cost him an extra $10, which…
I dunno. I’m having a hard time seeing what a VW in 2021 is all about. Twenty years ago they were the car equivalent of the iPhone. Revolutionary, different, thoughtful, friendly, hip... I don’t know why I’d buy a Tiguan.
It’s more like 3/4ths, and at the top of a hill. I used to jog when its nice. But we’ve got a 6 month old and a babysitter at the house and being able to get there fast if I needed is some peace of mind.
Yeah, that statement is akin to saying there is no drought in XX, because there is plenty of rain in YY.
There is no gas shortage. There is only panic.
You might have to wait as long as, GASP, this weekend when service is expected to return to normal.
“Sporty” doesn’t mean fast or good handling. It means it has aesthetic qualities that suggest it would. Think: Celicas, base model Civic coupes, Mazda3s, that sort of thing.
The GTI engine doesn’t need premium, it’ll make the full power on 87. I know....I’ve dyno tested it. It actually makes quite a bit more than advertised on 93, I suspect the rating is on 87.
They don’t want to advertise the poor fuel economy and premium fuel need that would come with that when most buyers don’t care. That, along with size, was one of the things that hurt the first gen.
300 is the correct number of horsepower for something with a footprint and weight the size of the Tiguan.
Who is she, to be making lists of demands of anybody?
She’s portraying herself as a survivor of on-set abuse when she’s openly admitted nothing happened to her on that set. She simply heard second-hand rumors on the part of James Franco and insisted on breaking a contract which would hold up production and cause countless problems to other people’s lives. When the…
Because in the arena of public opinion, expressing a dislike of Ms. Yi is taken as opposition to those ideas.
It’s okay to stand against abuse, to agree Rogen should do everything on that list, and to still dislike Ms. Yi.
Depends on electricity rates, roof angles, sun availability, etc etc. Usually 15-25 years. You’re really going solar because of going green, not to save money.
In your contract, I’ll direct your attention to section 14, subsection I, sub-subsection iii, the “Musk clause.” I’ll just paraphrase to spare you the legalese, but Tesla as an entity and Elon as a private party reserve the right to alter the terms of this contract in any way they deem necessary. Additionally, please…
Some people feel traditional solar panels are ugly. I disagree, but if you don’t want a traditional solar panel, this is really your only option. I can’t wait to get solar on my roof but I certainly won’t go tesla. I’d rather get a much bigger traditional system for less money
I owned a Triumph TR7 as a teenager, but I was smart enough to total it before I had to deal with any of those legendary mechanical problems.
