That is why every time I’m towing with a 4x4, I engage the flipping 4x4 when launching or retrieving the boat. No harm in having all 4 corners pulling just in case the rear tires get into the slime or mud.

It’s been broken at various levels for years. Maybe this is them finally admitting it.

Bought a lot of HF when I was just starting out. Most of it has been replaced. The only keepers were an Earthquake pneumatic impact driver and a low speed beast of a drill that I use for mixing mortar and thinset. The rest of the power tools failed after a fairly short lifespan. Didn’t have much hand tools, but I hear

Nah. Ammo too expensive. We’d break out the fishing poles or go noodling under the seats for catfish.

I cannot wait for this to happen...

I managed to keep a straight face until he said “dingle arm”.

I simply haven’t got to that point yet. Doubt I ever will.

Hey! It took a lot of engineering to create that system to fool emissions testing and keep it secret for so long.

Not sure exactly why I’d even want fried chicken and all that other stuff from Ikea anyway. Their menu is Swedish theme to match the store, so why bother changing.

Most of the shops I know apply a 15% - 25% markup on the price they pay for parts from the local stores. They justify this by saying they get the same discount from the stores, so I’d really just be paying the same as if I were buying the part. Therefore, all is square’n’fair because I’m not paying extra, per shop

I’ve finally seen enough of them over the 10+ years they have been on the road to no longer mistake them for Ford Aerostars.

Well that depends. Are we talking the world of total price or the world of ‘monthly payments’ financing wizardry.

Why not just buy more Carbon Credits or create a new Super Carbon Credits? This seemed to solve the corporate emissions problems in the past. /S

I could see people getting all bent if the numbers got larger, a.k.a 3 digits, but I don’t get the uproar about the minimally larger physical size.

Doesn’t freaking matter whether it was closed or not.

1% tax write off? Pssshhh. If you are in the top 1%, taking tax write offs on something as small as $170K isn’t worth your time. You do it with investments or real-estate where you don’t have to shelp around a dealership.

Why today? Did you lose a family member?

If I was his commanding officer, he would be reassigned to teach a class using the “Arkansas State Police’s Driver’s License Study Guide” until he could recite it forwards and backwards, plus had a better than 90% pass rate for the class he teaches.

Tool suggestion: Magnetic Oil Plug Remover Tool. They go my many names. It is basically a screwdriver handle with a flexible metal whip section in the middle with a magnetic part on the other end. Once you loosen an oil plug, you can unscrew the plug and remove it without getting a hand and arm covered with oil.
