In late 2016 I found a 4 door 2000 RS with an automatic. It had some mechanical issues that were easily sorted, but most importantly it was rust free. Here roughly a year and a half later I fixed all it’s mechanical issues and converted it to a 5 speed for less then half of what people are asking for 2 door GC’s.

Poor spaceship, battle wagon ftw though.

You are free to your opinion (obviously), but to make a post like this just means you don’t get “it”.

Simple scatter shield/transmission installation turned into a 12 hour x two day fiasco. Alternator replacement on my Wife’s 67 Mustang has turned into needing to replace the radiator core support and apron that runs under the battery. A simple wheel swap on my Cobra turned into a two week fiasco thanks to tire shop

Should have held onto it long enough to bring it to a rallycross. ;-)

CJ-2A? Color me jealous. nice find!

I have a 325es almost identical (when bought) to your car. Everything you said is true. It isn’t fast, but that isn’t the point. I love cruising in it, one of my favorite cars. Mine came with the original purchase recipt from 1986, was just a bit over $24K new. So I would say your $50K est timate is about right.

Haven’t logged in forever, just did to se this reply. I failed to mention my Fox makes somewhere above 400hp and easily outpaces stock Coyotes. I drove it for a couple of years with the stock worn out 302, it got a lot more interesting (to say the least)when I put the 347 in it.

Late model Mustangs handle well. I can do a rolling burnout with my Fox body and not put it in the ditch. It doesn’t have all the nannies like the newer ones, in fact it is quite linear despite the chassis being designed in 1975 or whenever.

Not sure what to think, since I own Mustangs, Subarus, and an E30. :-/

Call the geezer eh?
