You mean I have to use my money for a game, and then physically be there to play it?

The whole point of the game is that it's for the PC master race. They made no bones about wanting to bring back the space genre to the PC, and have been fully up-front that it's designed for powerful computers. Once optimization is done it'll likely run on more modest computers, but the design is for top-end PCs.

It's worth noting that Tabata is really big on taking player feedback to heart. They tweaked Type-0 after each demo to address concerns and continued refining it for HD, and they've already implemented changes to XV based on feedback from their last livestream.

I just spent two hours playing Final Fantasy XV, which I can confirm is a real video game that actually exists. The good news: it's brilliant in a lot of ways, and from what I've played so far, it really does feel like a Final Fantasy game. The bad news? Well, it's got some serious technical issues, and I'm worried

Well then, I can pirate the games with good conscience. The worst that happens is that I screw over some idiotic corporation. They don't want my money anyway. And the devs won't see a dime from this game, so no harms done.

It might just be me, but I feel there's a double standard when it comes to games that are broken, or certain part's that don't work.

Says the guy typing on a videogame website. Be more stereotypical.

Seems more like indicators that Nintendo is even more anti-social than the other platforms. Other interpretations would be afraid of modern society, scared of taking risks, or being horribly out of date when it comes to how people interact.

I don't even know what your on about. You start off going on about "Justice warriors" but then your entire post seems to be some absurd satire of a "Justice Warrior"?

"It's why you can preorder Nintendo games without anxiety"
People who bought New Super Mario Bros 1 or 2 would beg to differ.

Omg. None of this is new, man. It's been like this forever. You're just getting older and have logged in more time playing these types of games and are just now realizing it. Welcome to aging! Good, quality, fresh shit is now going to happen less and less often. Get used to it.

Thank you. That read like a press release or from someone whose only RPG ever played was Skyrim. Morrowind had all of that stuff and more of it

Dude shut the hell up and go play ps1-2 games then.

Dark Souls is more like Blocking Simulator 20XX than an RPG.

Rose-tinted glasses. RPGs a decade ago were just as gimmicky as RPGs today, the only difference is in the way the gimmicks work.

Everytime I come on this site you're complaining about something. Goodness gracious man you can't be this miserable, or can you be?

I disagree (respectfully), because you can always look at word-of-mouth reviews and general community reaction. If you -must- have something on launch day (and I've been guilty of this many times myself), then on your own head be the value or suckitude of your purchase.

The solution being "research."

Thinking about a purchase before clicking the, "purchase for myself," button is tantamount to not feeling rooked.

I really don't understand why people care that so many things are being allowed on steam. It's not like you have to buy them, and it's not like most of the people complaining buy things just on the front page of steam anyways.

He also called Steam a monopoly, something that doesn't sit well with him. He said GOG's upcoming variation on Steam's theme, GOG Galaxy, can only mean good news for everyone (for the record, I'm inclined to agree). Further, he noted that Steam's lofty status as the PC game store has allowed it to languish. "You could
