I’m actually getting ready to submit it to BAT in the next couple of weeks. It’s a 2004 silver gray sedan with ~103k miles. Manual, leather, overall very good condition. Only mods are zimmerman drilled rotors and powerflex LCA bushings.
Now if they would get rid of the knobs that styled the Type R they’d be on to something.
I had a 3.3 Frontier. It was rated at 5000 lbs but was pretty taxed even at 3500. It also got 17mpg unloaded. It got totaled by a red light runner, so I used the opportunity to solve the MPG issue and get a big margin for towing capacity. I came very close to getting a 4.0 Tacoma though. I tow frequently with my Colorado. I definitely appreciate the diesel and the more-than-modest 7600lb tow capacity. The real world 23mpg i get in my mixed commute is much better that I’ve had in my previous mini trucks.
Same with my ‘04 ZHP. Although it requires shockingly little work, and parts are abundant if it does. Hate to see it go, but I rarely drive it.
