Appleby also appeared in a few episodes of the last season of ER and got to have a little fling with John Stamos. I think her career is okay.

I don’t remember this one scaring the crap out of me when I was a kid—I don’t think I watched it until I was around 9 or 10. The one that really freaked me out when I was about 5 or 6, though, was Once Upon a Forest—same thing where I thought it would just be cute animals, but noooo. Instead there were evil chemicals.

“Faking an identity because you feel like playing at being an oppressed person, isn’t being ‘exactly who you are’.”

The sun’s free...but in Spokane in the winter, it doesn’t show up that much.

Yeah, I was thinking that this whole time; but isn’t vanity sinful among the Amish?

He blows.

And, while the OP is probably correct in saying that they have all their vaccines, I’m thinking their kids might not be so lucky. Washington has too many anti-vaxxers already.

Plus isn’t Louis himself part-Mexican? Yet he doesn’t look stereotypically Mexican at all. Not everyone looks like a perfect mixture of their parents’ features; and his show addresses this in a quiet way.

Wow. I seriously wish I could report your cousin’s wife for child abuse. And generally encouraging ignorance in the next generation.

I can see how that might be the case for like, elementary-schoolers or preschoolers. But babies aren’t going to be able to respond to the random kidnapper who comes up and says “oh, hi Johnny, I’m a friend of your mom’s”...if you want to kidnap a 1-year-old you pretty much just grab and run. Also...on that topic, one

Seriously. My dad spent his collegiate summers in the 1970s working on the sanitation crew at an amusement park and then at a factory. My grandfather got through college during the waning years of the Depression by joining the ROTC. People do what they need to do, and that shouldn't be shameful.

I don't have a problem with mayonnaise, but I hate pineapple, and certain texture combinations bug the crap out of me...plus I hate the whole "I AM DOING NICE THINGS FOR YOU THAT YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR! DON'T YOU LOVE IT?!? LOVE MEEEEEEE!" bullshit.

Seriously. It's really not very feminist to act as though women must always be treated with total deference (or should we say...chivalry?) even when they're acting like unrepentant assholes. Tear down the angel in the house, Emily R. Jeez.

I think this might double post, and I apologize if it does...

They probably sell monogrammed coffee thermoses.

And that's how you tell the actual classy people from the wannabes...

You know who that reminds me of?

It depends on how strict they are. From the description of the burger place, it sounds like they might have been a strictly fleischik (meat) restaurant that therefore carried no dairy products whatsoever (see salsasis' comment about not cooking the calf in its mother's milk). Whereas the descriptions of the deli make

How is that even possible? How much food coloring would that TAKE?
