Bring back intermissions. We might have gotten a decent Dune movie to begin with if Hollywood was more willing to tell longer stories. Ghandi did all right. Hateful Eight was pretty good. WTF Hollywood?

I think an argument could be made that Hideo needs to reign in his spending or at least be able to get better at estimating cost. That’s just business. So Konami cutting off the franchise seems to make sense.

Probably for the same reason Valve won’t do Half Life 3, Disney won’t do Tron 3, Marvel is killing all X-men and Fantastic Four things, and we’ll never see Dark Crystal 2. Short sighted bean counters and or corporate ego.

I know I’m kinda loco here but i kinda liked parts of it. I mean my only honest problem with the movie was the stupid decisions everyone seemed to keep making which has been explained away in older posts (Weyland screened for crazy impulsive people and the robot spiked everyone’s sleepy juice).

Marvel and DC are basically nostalgia fests. You get gems now and then when a great storyteller wants to take over a character for a while but you have to keep an eye out for it.
