Maybe they’ll license Apple’s Lightning charger.
Maybe they’ll license Apple’s Lightning charger.
I mean this seriously, but how exactly has Obama been worse than Nixon with regards to these regulatory agencies? Other than the dump he took on the coal industry (WRT coal power plants), which seems extreme.
I keep wondering why they don’t try hydraulic hybrid systems. They work in delivery trucks, maybe it doesn’t scale down to light pickups.
This is the internet. Do you want to reconsider your question?
And the 3, in its minimum curb weight and horsepower configurations works out to 18.5 lb/hp, right along with your 80s Si.
I disagreed with you, and gave you a reason why. You disagreed with me, and did so by antagonizing me by telling me I’m talking out of my ass. If I was dismissive, as you state, it was unintentional. I guess you took it as “No (you’re wrong)“, not “No (I think it’s more like this).” Your response was intentional, and…
Your first reply to me: “You’re talking out of your ass”
From Wikipedia: an Internet Troll is a person who sows discord on the internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community...
Administration != Congress. This is a Senator (Bill Nelson, FL), not the President. Granted, they are both Democrats. Would Florida get a lot of the jobs from the contracts to build this thing?
Troll.
Yes, I’m talking out of my ass, while you have documented proof that the increase in battery capacity is due to software enhancements. Go fuck yourself.
No, the software was changed to cripple the battery pack so that you can only get a reduced amount of power out of it. The software itself merits no premium, and it was developed only to create a car that has two different “battery capacities,” while using only one physical battery pack.
Well, that’s my point. As you say, fracking and oil sand production is down, and that’s because there’s no profit. If foreign production slows, it takes quite a while to ramp back up. So prices could jump pretty high, at least for a while. People with less fuel efficient vehicles are not going to be happy when that…
This data is from 2010, but the Camaro is/was built in Canada and the GMC Sierra is built in Mexico. Vehicle content for all of the cars you listed varies, but all of the cars have some foreign content. The AALC actually includes anything from Canada as domestically produced. Only 4 GM vehicles count as being over 75%…
Well, he runs a hedge fund, and he’s made good money from his guesses so far. He can say what he wants, but if he doesn’t bet right, he’ll be out of business.
Not sure if we’re allowed to post links, so Google:Top Oil Trader Thinks Oil Will Double From Here. A prediction (by next year, according to the article) from someone who made a lot of money in 2008 and 2009 shorting and then going long. It’ll be back up to >$4, and will catch a lot of people with their pants down.
Wall Street problems: Production and sales are strong for trucks and SUVs. When gas goes back up to $4+ a gallon, smaller more fuel efficient vehicles will be in demand again. Companies like Hyundai, who’s line up is geared toward sedans, will profit. The big three will again play catch up, as they have to switch…
But if you clarify the buying process, you can’t try to add on all sorts of bullshit fees. Think of the lost commissions man!
Sounds like the service rep has no clue about why you rotate tires. It’s a fairly simple concept: Rotate tires + rotate tires (soon after) = tires not rotated.
If a dealer won’t let you plug in your own OBD reader, tell them you want them to use theirs. If that’s a no go, you’ve got your answer on buy/don’t buy.
