Doesn't Amazon already offer all of this?

Then he said, "My name is KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN."

This sounds relatively extremely mild in comparison to problems that take from weeks to months to resolve with telcos.

Technically feasible but not going to happen. The video doesn't show what it would look like if you launched thousands of those throughout a city. You would quickly see how ensuring public safety would be impossible. Sorry, Jeff.

Here to settle this as someone who ate carob as a child due to chocolate allergies:

Three million years later...

Yes it's the kind of thing you think you want and then you eat it and remember...

Optimistic about the future because we can't fuck up anything beyond this planet.

You might think I am being macabre, but I am serious. No matter whether humanity thrives or falters, for the time being our impact is limited to our little blue globe. The universe(s) will keep right on going with or without us.

There won't be a good explanation for the Doctor to go past 12 generations.

Because, really, can you think of one? Have you ever heard a truly good theory on why he could? They are all deus ex machina.

Easy for people to destroy humanity; pretty much impossible to destroy the world.

The article kind of confuses these two things. None of the things discussed would destroy the world or even all life on Earth.

Yeah I think that just suggests it's apocryphal.

He hands me the USB cable and says, "It must be stuck in here. Can you get it out for me?'

what happened to the no weapons in space thing?

Unless all life on Earth came from space, which is seeming more and more likely.

And I explained the same things to her about not rushing to declare us as having interbred with Neanderthals. She does not care. I'm sorry if you don't think it's fair. Keep reading her anthro coverage for the next few years and see if you don't feel like beating your head against the wall. I sure do!

I agree. Normally her articles are well researched. In the case of anthropology, however, Annalee does the same thing you complained about in virtually every article about anthropology.

Annalee! I am sooo surprised at you! A large number of the items you put here are viewed speculations, not even really theories within the archaeological world.

Yes, we are still evolving but I would question your use of the word "rapidly" since our relative ease of global travel has eliminated one of the key factors in genetic divergence: isolation. We have very little genetic diversity as a species as you point out and that trend is accelerating.

"You can even it drop it, on occasion..." (from the video)

Why didn't they use the real music? It's a parody and would be legally protected.
