Last time I remember getting delivery, I was at my friend’s parent’s empty house. She was housesitting/crashing and trying to sell it for them as they were in Japan.

Yeah, butter rosettes... The classy touch at every other banquet dinner I’ve been to in the Midwest. Man, I miss Caity and Rich.
I need to listen to that, like, now.
It took me some time to get used to her voice, I admit. But the topics and conversation kept me listening, and these days I think it’s almost an asset - not personally I’m sure, but it forces the conversation into something more thoughtful and slower paced, unlike, oh, damn near everything else we have in the US media…
Almost *Anyone* over Gross for me. Often times I end up yelling at her (only in the privacy of a car, as her show comes on during lunch here) for not asking the obvious questions or letting BS slide - something I never do with Rehm or many BBC reporters. She’ll be missed.
I get a bowl, to go, with nothing that can’t be reheated (read: lettuce, and $5 on that and $5 on cilantro for the cause) and it lasts me 2 meals. I do have a kickass taqueria nearby so I don’t go very often. But like American Style Chinese, sometimes it hits the spot.
Grover for life!
