I’m well aware of this. The priest in my partner’s Irish Catholic family is about as far as you can get from my church/youth leadership in the church growing up. He did get ordained just as Pope Francis came on, which I do have to admit has been kind of funny to see. He’s a decent enough fellow but... Yup.
