First Gear: I still think Toyota is being wise. Hybrids and PHEVs are more practical in North America now than BEVs for a large portion of the population, since a robust charging network isn’t going to be available for North America for a while.

Right...people have been getting married for thousands of years. People who had no wealth to pass down got married.
Right here in at 1m40s:
What a weird take on what Shaq was saying. He said he doesn’t have the moral authority to condemn or judge them for cheating because of how serially unfaithful he was. And then spent a good amount of time talking about his regret and how much he lost because of his behaviour.
There’s also the very clickbait title: You’re Pronouncing All the German Car Brand Names Wrong.
Considering the small amount of dye used and the brief contact with any of the aquatic species in the waterfall, I doubt that it had any environmental impact. It was most likely a common food safe dye and even if it was something like copper sulfate it would have no lasting effect. It was already being rapidly diluted…
Because somebody needs to take all the acting jobs Kenneth Mars used to get?
Do it you Cowards!
When I’m talking to someone whom English is not their native language, I don’t have a shit fit whenever they “mispronounce” words.
Man, I love those GranTurismo’s.
So let me get this straight, we’ve reached the point of zero-accountability feminism where we are actually supposed to believe women are so infallible that past reality itself no longer exists? If you change your mind about something then it’s retroactively enforced as always having been that way for the rest of us?
Oh yeah, fair point. Bank will be made, but it just won’t be as direct as a check from the NFL.

Why? My cousin is an accomplished rally driver. He pilots a WRX with something like 500 whp, down snakey gravel roads, at ungodly speeds. He has the reaction times of a flying squirrel on speed.
Not sure I see a parallel between using tools and being a capable driver. But even a capable driver can’t compensate for a shitbox that comes apart at speed.
It’s all a step in the right direction, but you cannot stop the need for larger gas guzzling vehicles. You can only try to slowly switch these gas guzzlers to more efficient powertrains, and make people just deal with it. Even then you will have resistance, which makes the #Brands so hesitant to do it.
Do you have any idea how much EVs cost? Also not everyone lives in an area where charging is easily accomplished.
To be fair, the evidence you’re citing would also be the output of that process.
Rumor has it, “sex sells”, but I guess Ms. Theron was not aware of that? I mean in Hollywood, it’s only been like that since (checks notes), ohhh FOREVER.
Chris Pratt also had to lose weight (and gain muscle) for Jurassic Park. Movies are a visual medium and appearances matter.
