Well look, I’m all for critically examining my biases, and especially the pop culture I consume. But they turned a moment where they could have communicated something constructive into being shitty for no reason.

I too would like to hear some details, but all I could hear in my head was:
So...when pressed for examples they lashed out? Wow. I really would be interested in hearing what they think is wrong, but sounds like they just want attention
I wonder what happened? Conductor asleep at the switch (literally or figuratively) and forgot to slow down? Or something wrong with the track that prevented the train from slowing down? Or bad brakes on the train?
Yeah, I’ve had to go to Hackensack several times in the past year, and so I’ve taken the same train line (Pascack Valley) to/from Hoboken.
I live in Hoboken. The crash happened around 8:30am, so right during Rush Hour (I had just been there a few minutes earlier to take the PATH into the City) The distance that the train traveled, after the terminus, makes me think that they had to have been coming in really fast, given that there is a Heavy Block at…
Yeah its the terminus of a bunch of lines. My first guess was it ran through the stoppers too. That is a hell of a lot of energy.
Yes, it’s a terminal station. I can’t imagine no one died looking at these pictures. It went into the waiting room area from the shed it looks like.
righto.. thanks
Hoboken is an end station for the NJ Transit commuter trains, but not for the PATH trains connecting Manhattan and NJ. This looks like it was a commuter train.
is hoboken an end station? (and dont they normally have heavy/sunk stopblocks to prevent this?)
