Drop that engine, so long as it doesn’t compromise our Purity of Essence.

Will you please let people do what they want with their own cars ?

I bought a ‘87 944 turbo with 10K original miles on it for $20K back in 2001. Judging by the numbers these days, had I not driven it, it might be worth twice as much as what I bought it for if I had never driven the thing.

Who cares what people do with the piles of plastic and metal and rubber they decided to turn their money into?

What a sad life you have where your metric of pleasure is measured out in money. “wasting precious miles” is perhaps the most tragic, melancholy thing I’ve ever read when hearing someone talk about a car.

While your statement is a true statement regarding my ownership of a classic, hoarding them does prevent me from seeing them in the wild. There's a certain happiness that comes with running into a nice car in public. We are depraved of that if they're all treated as investments rather than cars.

That's not a car. That's an investment. Calling it a car implies that it will perform the functions of a car.

Exactly! Republicans and Fiscal Conservatives want to privatize everything they can when it comes to city services, tollways, towing and impound lots, parking meters, power plants, garbage, prisons, health care, etc. claiming that there is too much bureaucracy and cost involved when we allow “Big Government” yet it is

It’s a matter of proper implementation. The way as described by Doug is clearly the wrong way.

Truth!

Don’t borrow. If you have to borrow, then make sure you return it spotlessly, white-glove, eat-off-of-it clean. If your are borrowing a power tool, make sure you return it clean, and sweeten the deal by buying the owner an accessory that they do not already have. Or rent. Or buy. But don’t borrow.
Because eventually,

So many great photos :)

You can’t state with certainty that the female passenger or even the male driver were wanted for a crime, suspected of committing one or even committed one in the first place. In regards to that there’s literally zero information presented on that, and it appears that authorities have exactly as much information to go

It’s amazing to me that you think Citroen is more defined by a 2-door V6 coupe codeveloped with Maserati and on sale in limited numbers for only 5 years.

Will they bring over a model with their Hydropneumatic Suspension? Because if they don’t, I don’t give a shit. Seriously, I want to see green spheres under my hood.

Optional cupholder from VW.

gas with tetraethyl lead did two things:

I love these kinds of stories because every single time I hear of a “Damn BMW” / “Damn Mercedes” / “Damn VW” story it’s always someone that bought a car that was an abused piece of junk for too much money to begin with that had tons of screaming red flags they ignored.

Now playing

Why don’t we take a page from Finland and actually teach kids how to recover from loss of control?
