I was awesome at work this week with statistics to back it up and recognized for my efforts. So, on the one hand, yay for that, and on the other hand, I think this means we all have to prepare for the apocalypse.

I’m working on building up a portfolio for a wedding cake business and just booked a client in September. She liked my sketches and design samples so much she is just giving me a color palette and flavor profile and leaving the rest up to me. It’s a small order but she isn’t doing a tasting (SUCH a pain in the ass and

Kudos also for working so hard to achieve your goals and the positive response from you boss .

I’ve stayed on my diet since March 2, not one slip up (I don’t think I’ve ever lasted this long on a diet.) I’ve also become a regular at the gym. I wish there were more late afternoon classes but I’m usually the only one there at 2 pm so it makes sense.

Travelled to a national conference in my field for 4 days and gave two talks that seemed to go well. (The bad thing is, I procrastinated on preparing both of them so got about 3 hours of sleep before each.) My hotel was right across the street from a really tall chair swing ride and I rode that thing at night and it

Wow! All so good! For me, well, I’m on medical leave from work, so my accomplishments are finishing another week of cardiac rehab, going to see Hotel Mumbai at eleven in the morning, and getting better at guessing prices on The Price is Right.

I just moved three yards of mulch in two hours to help my parents out. I’m tired, but I feel good I was able to help make a giant pile (there were five yards to start; it took the two of them six hours to move the first two) disappear.

My boxer puppy had a murmur. She lived 11 years, and didn't go on meds until she was 9. Much love.

Hoorah, hoorah, and hoorah! :-))

Oh Archie. Oh Archibald, you precious, beautiful boy. I hope everything works out for him health-wise!

I went to a management workshop today. My company likes to promote from within so they have classes you can take on your own time to decide if management is for you. It was pretty interesting, although the person leading was pretty disorganized and didn’t know how to work the projector. Then by the time lunch hit she

That puppy! Adorable! Also I finished my fifth week of cardiac rehab AND I made a friend at rehab that I'm going to meet for walks once or twice a week! It's hard making friends when you're an adult, so this is something to celebrate.

Archie looks so happy! What a pretty boy.

Hugs and good wishes to little Archie—he’s too damn loveable to have to deal with a health problem. Let’s hope it’s something that can be managed well.

So I had a two-day sub assignment for a physics/chemistry teacher that went very well. Gave the physics students some tips (and a link to a website simulation) for doing their assignment, tutored the chemistry kids on the gas laws, and taught myself Lewis Structures on the spot so I could help the advanced chem

I had planned on a chapter a month of  dragged-out terror. This seems better. 😉

The free version of ClickUp has most anything you could want in terms of features, but only 100 MB of storage. The paid version has a lot more storage and a lot of more specialized reports, which really only matter when you're using it for a team project.

Right now, I am thinking of a little 9 year old girl who I saw on the adoptive kids gallery. I’d love a newborn, but they are not usually in the system.

PUPPY!

Job update: I didn’t get this one, either. It’s okay. My plan now is to spend the next year narrowing down what aspect of pharmacy interests me the most and doing whatever needs done to make myself an exceptional candidate for the position (additional coursework, certifications, etc.). I can also use the time to save
