I hope so, too! I’ve got a ton of writing to accomplish in the next three months or so, and it will take me being in good shape to crank it all out.

Well, last weekend I was bed bound with a terrible bacterial then viral infection, so feeling SUPER SUCCESSFUL that I went to gym twice this past week (and only had to use my inhaler once!)!

I’m at week 5 post surgery and dear god, I actually have hours at a time when I am not in pain. Which has made me realize how much of the past decades I have had constant nagging pain and how it affects the brain. I feel like I’m getting myself back. Like, I can think real thoughts. And read things that aren’t fanfic.

I love this. I lived in Elizabeth in the early part of the century and worked in the refinery there, and I loved the time I had there.

I’ve been working out consistently for a couple of weeks now, and this week I think I started to see the results. I’m really happy with how good I’m feeling and how much stronger I’m getting!

I took the train to Secaucus Junction and walked from there down to Howell Street in Jersey City in time for the sunset:

Thanks! I’ve subbed for science, math, history and even art, which was my first subbing job. In addition to being a warm body while they worked on their projects, I showed the students how a comic book is made, from script to artwork to finished product - using one of my own as an example.

I got a call this week from a local Catholic school where I had registered as a sub - months ago. “Hey, don’t you have a degree in physics?” Why, yes I do. “We have a need for a long-term sub.”

Oh Two2, thankyou! I hope you two get your Ireland trip soon!

I got four library books today, and ordered a juicer! My quest for fresh carrot juice ends in two days (Prime shipping).

IS THIS THE CUTEST BABY OR WHAT

Shelter Cat Update!

Hey everyone! I’m so glad to be SNS-ing tonight because I’m alive, and home from a week in a local hospital’s ICU! Things looked grim a week ago, when the doctor in the ER thought that I had had not one but two heart attacks, and in any event, I was in heart failure. Right??? Terrifying!

Canadian-Adjacent post! Hooray!

Catherine OHara is hilarious. I loved those mockumentary movies like Best In Show and A Mighty Wind and all that stuff.

Hey SNS! A couple of weeks ago, I posted about including my kids & their partners on a trip to Paris.

I don’t know what I just watched, but Kyle MacLachlan is really into wine. He was doing a lot of wine events in NYC around the time that Twin Peaks: the Return came out.

So I’ve got a pretty intense week ahead of me. I’ve had this random, painless lump in my jaw for a few weeks that the drs are now starting to look concerned about. I have to go for a scan on Tuesday and they want a radiologist there in case it’s something nasty.

😍😍😍 CATHERINE O’HARA IS EVERYTHING.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

On behalf of Canada, we are is happy that you have discovered the treasure that is Schitts Creek.
