I’ve taught Public Speaking before with no other experience except for taking it as a college freshman. You got this! Here’s hoping they make it a regular class as I think that kids really need to know how to conduct themselves with poise and confidence.

Ugh - my SIL had to have a hysterectomy due to Essure. That is some nasty business! Glad to hear that your mood has perked up - I have been in a total funk this week and have only recently stopped one of those “I’m weepy for absolutely NO reason” spells. You certainly deserve it!

I don’t have any tips for you as I skipped my 10-year reunion - and I’m not sure I’d go to one in the future. But I’m glad to hear that you’ve kicked the anxiety and you can look those bullies right in the eye and show them your accomplishments. And congrats on your weight loss - maybe you can go clothes shopping in a

My grandfather took up tap dancing in his mid-80s and did it until his death last year at 97 years young. Wonderful to hear about your rekindled passion.

Exciting times, and congratulations on your wonderful purchase!

Thank you for your kind words. I really hope this program takes off! Lots of work ahead, and hopefully politics won’t mess this up.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with GAD at the age of 42, and the best I can figure is that I developed it around the age of 7 or 8 (thanks, Mom). I TOTALLY can relate to every single word you wrote. I did the same hug-and-dash the other week and DANG, did that feel good! No sitting around feeling awkward and making

I have a momma like that, too. She is a damned machine.

Awwwww, yeaaaaaaah. Rock it, DerbyDuck! Look at you go.

Sending good juju to your dishwasher that it starts behaving. I’m completely impressed with your initiative in fixing your busted pipe!

I always joke around that I hate other people’s children, so don’t even think about asking me to sit for your brat (kidding, of course; I’m great with babies and absolutely ADORE them - just not the ones that can run from me and tell me “NO”). A two-year-old kid can absolutely be a nightmare, so good for you for

Yes, the level of education that some have is astounding, and I’m really hoping to be able to give them more than just a GED. Good to know that the Netherlands’ literacy rate is such that programs like that aren’t needed as much!

Kudos to you and your resilience! I love that you took the initiative to inquire about a credit increase so you’ll have an emergency fund, and you found a place with your BFF.

Such talent! Wow! Great job - I am sure the recipient will be so happy to receive it.

WEEKLY ACHIEVEMENT THREAD!
Go on, brag on your awesome self. What happened this week that you’re particularly proud of?

She came back today dumping more than my allotted weekly workload on me, so we’ll see how those boundaries hold up!

I am very proud of you. :)

Awesome on the financial retribution, AND having money for grad school! The supervisor will come soon enough. Have a burn party with the documentation and send it away from you forever. I HIGHLY recommend myofascial release - it’s helped immensely with the scar tissue on my hip flexors. Good luck!

That is definitely huge. Hope you’re feeling better very soon.

I’m late and buried in the greys, but how about an Achievement Thread!? What have you done thus far in 2018 that you’re particularly proud of, or do you have a small victory to share? Let us know so that we can crow with you!
