The show was very well done, and I picked up the book after about the 4th episode and inhaled it.

Yes, I did. I’ve been weight training with kettlebells for the past 4 years, and also do martial arts. I’m scheduled to work out 5 days a week, but was so sick with adrenal fatigue that I had to completely stop working out. I have gotten back on the workout train, but might just add walking/jogging in lieu of a full…
Last week I posted that I worked out 5x in 5 days and gained 5lbs. I took a day of rest ... and strep throat/allergies. I am still recovering from adrenal fatigue, so I think that maybe my body’s just not ready for prime time yet. I will stick with every-other-day workouts and rest when my body tells me to. Sigh.
Every picture, every single time. And video. It’s awful. The amount of time I spend de-tagging myself on Facebook could have been spent writing about 1/3 of my dissertation.
Blood testing with my GP. I was in Stage III when I was diagnosed last year.
I started working out in earnest this week. I am recovering from adrenal fatigue and am about 70% better. So 5 workouts in 5 days, and I’ve GAINED 5lbs! Fuckitall. My diet is very good, but I think that I need to eat more to counterbalance the exercise, which is a lot of weights. What a downer. :(
20 years married here with two grown kids. Two clichés for you: Don’t sweat the small stuff, and choose your battles. Another cliché is to ask yourself, “Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?” We got married at 24, and the first 10 years were seriously NOT easy. It’s interesting to look back on the…
Right away with pretty much all of them. The 3rd was conceived in the time of social media unlike the other two, so I posted there after I’d personally spoken to all of the immediate family members.

I looooooooove that ring. Love it. I want to wrench it off of Kate’s bony finger, so it’s a lucky thing for the both of us that I will never be within clutching radius of her, ever.
Ah, I sense an evil compatriot in you! Hah!
I’m going to an event for a woman I don’t know very well (our husbands play a sport together; we were invited to their wedding but rarely see them), and it’s being hosted at the home of a woman I really ... hmmm. Despise is a strong word, but it’s pretty damn close. If you can attempt to put all social-climbing rude…
I’m in! My go-to baby blanket is Pickle’s Bring it On Baby Blanket, which is super-easy to memorize and perfect for movie theatre knitting. Glad to hear this is a simpler knit that I’d thought as I’d love to have a backup go-to. ;)
I’ve had this pattern for ages, and seeing your pic has inspired me to jump in and do it. I have two little girls to knit this for that are arriving in the next few months - just such a delectable pattern! Thank you for posting!
I’ve read somewhere that his driver’s license reads 6' 2". I’m sure he thinks he’s 6' 3" so his BMI is ‘acceptable.’

OR DID HE. MUAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHA.
Holy shit.
I hope you slept well - I didn’t mean to frighten anyone. I have never had any experience with ectoplasm before; that’s pretty cool! I am sorry that you had some freaky-scary stuff happen, and hopefully the potato chips worked. I’ve never heard of anyone using those before! :)
I’m so sorry to hear that you & your husband have been experiencing poor health. I’ve experienced this at work, not at home (thankfully, knock wood!).
I did go to school and have a mediumship certification (class of 2000! whooo!), but the crux of the whole thing was to make sense of everything that was going on. I needed to have some control over the situation and understand it because I felt so powerless in my own home.
