So a continent is as big as a bunch of countries? OMG no way?! *Sarcasm*
That's why Ireland is outside of Madagascar, but Northern Ireland is inside. Smartass.
What, no room for Canada?
Yes. Africa is a continent. The fact that countries fit into a continent should blow no one away.
Because it's a lot easier to be a brutal/corrupt dictator/warlord when you have valuable natural resources to back it up.
Why is it amazing that a bunch of countries fit into a continent? Isn't this how the orders of magnitude normally work? I feel like this is people needing to constantly be reminded that Africa is not a country.
Not to defend ignorance, but in 4 years of high school and 4 years of college, we never once studied anything that would remotely explain anything about Ireland. I know there's like two of them, something about civil war and a potato famine. Sadly, I am an educated person otherwise. My high school history got to World…
Can we get one of these with the US with European countries inside of it? Because the emails when a tragedy happens here are a bit silly.

What blows me away is how often the Republic of Ireland is mistakenly made part of the UK. Independence was declared almost 100 years ago. Get it right, people.
So, the Sahara is almost the same size as the USA... nice.
Tunisia looks like a Seahorse. A fucking seahorse people!!!! Tunisia wins the internet.
Oh you are missing out if you haven't been to China Part 2. It's beautiful this time of year.
So much valuable real estate. So much mineral wealth. So much farm land. Why aren't more African countries big world players?
What the hell is "China Part 2"? Also interesting how they show the US at number three by territory - and then rank it at #4.
Hang on a minute... How come nobody told me there was a "China Part 2"?? When did that happen!?
No Canada? Sigh.
Such a rich, rich, fucked up, fucked up continent.
They have so many resources! Such a rich, rich continent.
