There's nothing like watching Buffy to bond you for life. And all the Scoobies in my life are awesome people. God, is there a Comic Con or something coming up.....

OK, now you made me flip-flop back. I don't want to be left out of pop cultural references! For life! That's just SO against the geek in me....Maybe I'll wait till I break a leg or something and really have nothing else to do but get frustrated and confused...
See, once again, no incentive. My favorite shows, like Buffy or BSG or The Office, have some cuddly redemptive notes. Plus, they try to make sense. Lost — and I mean no disrespect to the millions of you fans of the show — but it just seems to make no sense, even to people who love it. Like I said before, I'm confused…
It's OK. If I were psychic I'd know my big bunnies moment is coming up and that's no retro pastiche!....humans....
Scooby Hugs Forever!
Thank you! Verklempt. But I would expect such kindness from a fellow Scooby. It was such a decent show, full of people I still feel like are my best friends. And I do the same thing all the time — What Would Buffy Do? Or sometimes I turn to Willow and try to project thoughts when I can't just stake somebody ;)
We picked the same things. You have impeccable taste.
That's one of those TV episodes people only have to see once and they remember everything! SO good.
Good point. Although I love every ounce of BTVS, those episodes are standouts because they pushed boundaries. That's what makes Joss so awesome — his fearlessness and willingness to fall on his face. But of course he does not.
Could not agree more. BEST SHOW EVER. I got my kids hooked on Buffy right away and we all watched it together when they were in elementary and middle school.
Excellent choices, I cannot argue. Now I'm running to Netflix because it has been forever since I watched The Zeppo!
I love how you put that. Wow, I can't even keep my eyes open for five seconds without blinking. And you know that must have been so emotional for her and the cast and crew and everybody, knowing she was leaving, but she didn't get to have a big sobbing goodbye or anything, she just had to lie there....She's awesome.
I'm a diehard Buffy fan and I started out watching Angel but it took a turn and lost me. And honestly, there's no real crossover except for that one time where each went on the other's show while they were stopping another, yawn, apocalypse. And what they do to Cordelia in Angel? Abominable. I would just recommend…
Yes, good on you for bringing that up. Balloons and fireworks for Kristine Sutherland!! She did amazing acting, having to handle all sorts of things, from pretending a key was her daughter to wearing that Juice Newton coat and frenching Giles in Band Candy (which I could watch over and over) and then turning all…
OK, it's time for me to make a deep, dark confession. I've never watched Lost. And it's because at the time it premiered I had a boyfriend and we were really looking forward to watching it. But then we broke up before it aired and I couldn't bear to watch it because it would just make me think that he was off watching…
What's your more favorite Buffy? I am open to Buffy convincing. I am Buffy easy. lol.
Oh good, you picked my personal favorite! That episode, I can't even think about without mourning Joyce all over again. And when I read that Joss wrote it based on his own experience with his mom... Big feels.
"Would you say it was a breakaway pop hit, or more of a book number?"
"33", Pilot, Battlestar Galactica. The first masterpiece of a masterpiece doesn't waste time hooking you for good. (sorry, I cheated and did two) Why is it the best? Because I get goosebumps even thinking about this episode!
