Maybe it's just me, but "My Revolutionary Mind" is pretty close to "Wonderful (The Way I Feel)" from the last MMJ album.

Why is no one discussing how weird it is that this company paid ridiculous amounts of money to all these artists to be in this ad for a ridiculous website?

I was never really a fan of hers until I started listening to podcasts. You are totally right, she is just a great guest and really charming in that context.

Nu-metal and nutbar right wing conspiracy theories: two shitty tastes that taste even worse together.

I enjoyed the episode. But I think in general it probably seems a bit better than it actually was, simply because it's Maron interviewing a non-comedy person that is kind of from out of left field compared to his usual guests.

I enjoyed it.

Yeah, but those guys are too obvious. It's more fun if its people you would never expect.

He should be treated with respect for his very serious thoughts on the very serious matter of Obama's Illuminati connections.

Damn it was a good year for comedy records.

I like Gentlemen better as an album. There isn't a single track I skip. But I think the best songs on Black Love are better than the best songs on Gentlemen. If that makes any sense.

I think that ship has already sailed:

Barbe would be great in the band. But my understanding is that he is just replacing Shonna for the upcoming shows until they find someone permanent.

Agreed.

I've seen DBT an absurd number number of times, but only a few times with Jason, and it bums me out when they are playing a not that great deep cut in the middle of a show and I think about what Isbell song they could be playing instead.

I thought Dancing Ricky was pretty good, Home Field Advantage annoyed me, because I thought the sports metaphor was really cheesy.

Jason's pretty much shot this down all over Twitter. So, really doubtful.

This really bums me out. She will not be easily replaced.

Considering how much bridge burning Corgan has done over the last few years, it's a testament to how good these records are that the reissues are getting such good reviews everywhere.

That whole album is kind of a road album.
