I thought the same thing.

It's not the same, but that was some great music as well!

Such an awesome detail, made even better by the fact that he actually started shooting at zero.

That cat in the commercial was the saddest looking cat ever. It was funny to me how they closed in on its big, teary eyes, weighing on Stone's conscience.

I'm pretty sure everyone will vote for the first ten episodes of the show. Problem solved!

The one where Dexter talked to Isaak Sirko in a gay bar?

Mike Anderson was awesome, especially because he actually seemed to be aware of the dumb actions of everyone else. It was like he walked off the set of a better crime show. And then he was just dead.

Ghost Harry just started appearing to Dexter out of nowhere, too. It started halfway through season 3 and I remember wondering if we were supposed to be worried about Dexter's mental health. But they never addressed it, until the penultimate episode where he disappeared because Dexter "didn't need him anymore". That

At least that was an exciting storyline, maybe especially because it came so soon. The problem is nothing ever topped the way it felt like Dexter was in trouble of getting caught. Quinn replaced Doakes, but seemed to forget halfway through that he was ever suspicious of him.

That confused me about his character, because all the other characters did seem to think it was weird that Dexter started "dating" again so soon after. So that seemed like a deliberate choice on the writers' part, but I think Dexter would have cared more about Rita's death.

I like to pretend it ended with season 5, but with Lumen staying with Dexter instead of leaving him. It was interesting, at least to me, to see Dexter use his dark side to help someone he cared about (and at the same time, deal with his wife's death). They then ruined that idea by having him be an actual superhero and

Then they repeated that mistake by having Isaak Sirko kill Louis - a character whose storyline was, in a rare case, set up the season before. I remember people being excited by that character once. It's crazy.

Just like the St Muerte (?) expert who betrayed Debra to get a promotion in season 3.

There was a time between seasons 7 and 8 where everyone expected the final season to be Batista's revenge for LaGuerta's death. Then we got him actually seeing Dexter killing someone on tape, and saying "Yeah, I get why you'd do that".

I remember something about them having a fight about her doing drugs. She then disappeared before they resolved it as Masuka's last appearance on the show was at the hospital, telling Dexter that Debra would survive.

So Outcast is basically the event they never revealed on The Event?

The Stranger Things intro is just long enough to replace your snacks between episodes without missing anything from the show.

Even worse was her line to Steve in a previous episode where she's like "I've been so distracted, trying to take care of my brother after his friend disappeared!" even though at that point, they only shared scenes at the dinner table.

I'm curious; Why is that? His character is such an important part of Saul's character. He's supposed to be unlikeable (for a large part).

Thanks for mentioning the salty bath/tank! I've been meaning to ask you guys if there were other sci-fi stories that used that as a way of crossing over to alternate realities. I'd only seen it on Fringe before this show, and while it would have been cool, I didn't imagine that's what it was referencing.
