Hmmm…great point!!  I didn't know they weren't considered part of the continuity because so much crazy shit happens during the regular episodes too.

The X-mas episodes are some of the best they've had.  My favorite is still the apocalypse one because it was hilarious and it set up the precedent that everything that happens on the sow from there on out was actually happening in Stan's heaven and they are all dead.

American Dad is already on its 8th season.  More than enough for syndication and it does pretty well for its time slot.

Finally, that show is shit.  I watched for all least 30 episodes to give it a fair shot and I can count the times I had a genuine laugh on both hands.  American Dad is his only good show and that's because he's barely involved in it.

I watched from the beginning but was only a casual viewer. It wasn't until the episode where Rogers daughter gets married and they dealt with the Kennedy assassination that I became a diehard. I love this show so much and can't wait for it to come back.
